Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith PMP is an experienced technology leader with extensive expertise in software engineering and project management. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Kantar since March 2013, Andrew manages a team of 10 across North America and the United Kingdom, providing technical leadership for a large Azure Microservice application and overseeing the technical roadmap for scalable and secure product development. Previous roles at Kantar included Director of Insights Technology, where Andrew led a team of five software engineers, and Director of Script Writing and Web Solutions, where a critical business tool was developed to support operations in managing over 2500 market research surveys per year. Prior to Kantar, Andrew worked as Senior Manager at Millward Brown, supervising a team of five and indirectly managing an offshore team of 60 for market research projects. Andrew's career began at Telenetwork as Level II Technical Support. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
