Shayla White

Shayla White is a skilled Backend Engineer at LinkedIn since February 2025 and serves as a Brilliant Black Minds Community Ambassador at Karat, focusing on increasing representation of Black software engineers in the tech industry. Previous experience includes software engineering training through the Interapt SEI Program, where proficiency in web development technologies was developed, and an instructive role at the 100 Black Women’s National Coalition, where a summer coding camp was managed for young Black girls. As a Data Analyst at Deloitte, Shayla led initiatives that enhanced data privacy compliance and contributed to significant company growth.
