Jerry Liao

Jerry Liao is an experienced engineering leader and technology executive with a strong background in software development, team management, and cloud computing. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Karmo since July 2024, Jerry also holds a position as an invited speaker at CHT Global, providing expertise in serverless architecture, AWS migration, and React. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer at Sked Social, Jerry successfully managed global teams, improved delivery efficiency significantly, and enhanced system stability while implementing a test-driven development approach. Earlier roles include Technical Lead positions at SiteMinder and Reckon, co-founding Bryten, and various software engineering positions at companies like Pod Trackers and Guvera. Jerry holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Data Mining from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University.
