Michael Wong has over 18 years of legal experience. Michael began their career in 2003 as an Intellectual Property Intern at Warner Music Group. In 2007, they joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP as an Associate, where they practiced corporate transactional law. Michael then moved to Goodwin Procter LLP in 2011, where they represented technology companies, investment banks, private equity and venture funds in major transactions. In 2015, they joined ESPN as Associate Principal Counsel. Michael currently serves as the VP of Legal Affairs at Kashable and as a Charter Member of TechGC.
Michael Wong attended I.S. 204 before going to Bronx High School of Science from 1996 to 2000. Michael then went on to Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business where they earned a B.S. in Business Administration from 2000 to 2004. Michael then attended Cardozo School of Law where they earned a J.D. in Law from 2004 to 2007. In 2015, they obtained a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
