Mark Rios

Mark Rios has extensive experience in music education, currently serving as a Teacher at Katy ISD since June 2021. Prior to this role, Mark was a Teacher at Fort Bend ISD from August 2012 to June 2021, where Mark held the position of Head Band Director. Mark also taught trumpet and brass at the School of Fine Arts at Houston's First from August 2010 to June 2019 and served as Band Director at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD from August 1999 to June 2012. Mark's educational background includes a Master's degree in Applied Performance from the University of Houston (1997-1999) and a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from Houston Baptist University (1992-1997).
