Dan Sailer has held various roles throughout their career. Dan began as a CPA at KB Parrish & Co. LLP (now MCM CPAs & Advisors) in 2002 and moved on to become a Management Consultant at Hamernik, LLC from 2005 to 2013. In 2005, they also briefly worked as a Controller at Hare Auto Group. In 2013, Sailer joined Katz, Sapper & Miller as a Director in their Valuation Services Group. Additionally, they have been actively involved in professional organizations such as the CFA Society Indianapolis, where they served as a Board Member and Past-President from 2014 to 2020, and the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis, Inc., where they have been serving as President since 2017.
Dan Sailer, CPA/ABV, CFA, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Dan completed their undergraduate studies from 1998 to 2002.
In addition to their degree, Dan Sailer has obtained several certifications. Dan became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2004, accredited by the Indiana Board of Accountancy. In 2010, they achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification awarded by the CFA Institute. Furthermore, in 2014, they obtained accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) from the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
