Johan Nykvist

Johan Nykvist is an experienced leader in transportation and logistics, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Traffic Operations at Kaupunkiliikenne Oy, where responsibilities include leading subway and tram operations in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Prior to this role, Nykvist was the Chief Operating Officer at Pohjolan Liikenne, overseeing strategic operations within Finnish public transport, and held various positions including HR Manager, where responsibilities spanned across HR management and operational processes. Nykvist’s career also includes significant experience in HR management roles at companies such as Avecra Oy and StaffPoint Oy, along with entrepreneurial experience as Managing Director of Restaurant Wera. Nykvist holds an Executive MBA from Aalto University and a Transport Entrepreneurship Degree from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency, among other qualifications in business administration and management.
