Jan Nys

Jan Nys has extensive experience in the banking and insurance sector, having held various leadership positions at KBC Bank & Verzekering and KBC Global Services since 1988. Currently serving as the General Manager of Procurement, as well as overseeing Cyber Security and Infrastructure Architecture at KBC Group, Jan Nys is responsible for IT-security and the architecture of KBC's headquarters data centers. Jan Nys previously held roles including Chief Risk Officer for ICT and Information/Cybersecurity, and has served as General Manager and Director in development roles. Jan Nys holds a Licentiate in Mathematics, Licentiate in Computer Science, and an MBA from KU Leuven, completed between 1978 and 1985.
