Lobke Callens

Lobke Callens has extensive experience in operational risk management and insurance, currently serving as the Department Head of Operational Risk Management at KBC Bank & Verzekering since August 2014. In previous roles at KBC, Lobke has focused on risk reporting, reputational risk management, and crisis management, particularly in relation to the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Lobke has also contributed to Solvency II implementation and risk reporting in insurance contexts. A brief international experience at K&H Csoport involved supporting the risk and finance department on various reporting and budgeting topics. Earlier roles include an internship at Delta Lloyd Life focused on pricing and valuation and administrative work at Verduyn L & Co. Lobke holds degrees from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ghent University, as well as educational credentials from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
