Robert Marrs

Robert Marrs currently serves as the Manager of Technical Operations at KBI Biopharma, a position held since April 2014, where responsibilities include managing the Operations Specialist group with a focus on Manufacturing Quality Systems and Technical Transfer activities. Previously, Robert held the position of Manager of Manufacturing, overseeing large-scale microbial-based biologics processes. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manufacturing Associate at Merck from April 2009 to April 2014, where leadership of a shift of operators and training of junior staff were key responsibilities, alongside expertise in protein purification methods. Robert started their career at Insmed Incorporated as a Manufacturing Technician from May 2006 to April 2009. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1998 and 2002.
