Robert Nissen

Robert Nissen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management within the hydrocarbon and materials industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Project Management at Worley since January 2024, Robert is responsible for overseeing major overseas hydrocarbon processing plant projects. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Project Director at Origin Materials, contributing to the company's mission of promoting sustainable materials from June 2021 to December 2023. Robert also managed significant LNG/gas value chain EPC projects at Matrix Service from August 2017 to December 2020, and held various leadership roles at Jacobs from March 2002 to August 2017, including overseeing over $3 billion in EPCM projects related to the production of sulfuric and phosphoric acid. With previous experience as a Senior Project Manager at FMC and a Project Manager at BP Amoco, Robert possesses a robust background in managing large-scale capital projects. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and has continued education at The Wharton School since 2001.
