David Edmundson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. David started their career at Feral Interactive as the Head of Web Development, where they gained experience in the publishing industry and porting PC games to the Mac platform. David then worked at L3 ASA as a Software Engineer, contributing to ballistic missile defense projects and handling all stages of the software cycle. Following this, they joined KDE as a Software Engineer and Project Lead, working on multiple open-source projects, including Dragonplayer, the default KDE media player. In 2011, David worked at Google as a Summer Of Code Mentor. Currently, they are a PhD research student at Loughborough University, specializing in Content Based Image Retrieval and exploring image retrieval in the compressed domain.
David Edmundson attended Loughborough University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
