Mr. Katakura joined NEC in 1982 and held various positions for NEC Corporation of America in the International Purchasing Division and Planning Network in Oregon and Texas. He was appointed Head of Corporate Strategy for NEC TOKIN in 2011 and promoted to Vice President of Global Supply Chain at KEMET in July 2017. In 2018, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Magnetics, Sensors and Actuators. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics from Keio University.
