Michael Freitag

Michael Freitag has extensive experience in the electronics industry, currently serving as Director of Magnetic, Sensor, and Actuator Product Management for EMEA at KEMET Electronics Corporation since January 2004. In this role, Michael is responsible for managing sensor, actuator, and magnetic products, especially following KEMET's acquisition of TOKIN. Previous positions at KEMET include Technical Director EMEA and Director of Business Development EMEA Channel Distribution, where Michael focused on technical applications, strategic business development, and managing sales teams. Earlier career experiences include serving as Area Sales Director for UK & Central Europe, Global Key Account Manager, and Sales Representative in North-Rhine Westfalia. Prior to KEMET, Michael worked as a Field Sales Engineer at ECOMAL Europe and as a Technical Support & Service Engineer at Servomex. Michael holds a Dipl. Ing. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Applied Science, Dortmund, and has professional training as an electrician.
