Michael Zunner

Michael Zunner has extensive experience in engineering and sales, currently serving as the Manager of Applications Engineering Wear Solutions for EMEA at Kennametal since September 2008. In this role, Michael leads strategic market initiatives, drives new product development, and focuses on creating applications that enhance value and profitability. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Senior Application Engineer for energy in the EMEAR region, providing technical sales support and implementing wear technology. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as Sales Manager at Ecka Granules from 2004 to 2008, specializing in technical sales of metal powders, and as Development Engineer at Novem Car Interior Design GmbH from 2000 to 2004, where project management and surface technology development were key responsibilities. Michael holds a Dipl.-Ing. (Univ) degree in material science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, earned between 1990 and 1996.
