Ali Fatemi

Ali Fatemi, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, where responsibilities include founding directorship of the Moser Center for Leukodystrophies and leadership within the Department of Neurogenetics and the Experimental Cellular Therapy Program in Perinatal Brain Injury. In addition to these roles, Ali Fatemi is a co-director at the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Research Center at the same institute and holds the position of Professor of Neurology & Pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins University. Ali Fatemi is also a board-certified Pediatric Neurologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Academic qualifications include an M.D. from the Medical University of Vienna, a Graduate Certificate and an MBA focused on health care management from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, and previous academic tenure as an Assistant Professor of Neurology & Pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins University.
