Currently, as the Assistant Director for Editorial Content at Kennesaw State University, Gary leads a team that shares impactful stories from a rapidly growing university community and serves as a content strategist for Kennesaw State University Magazine. Previous roles include Managing Editor for a digital and print news operation in Cherokee County, freelance writer and editor, and Communications Specialist at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, among others. Education includes a BS in Political Science from Georgia Southern University and an AS in Journalism from South Georgia State College.
