Catherine Oakley

Catherine Oakley serves as the KSC Event and Conference Services Coordinator at Kent State University since November 2018. Prior to this role, Catherine accumulated extensive experience at Gannon University from June 2003 to May 2018, where responsibilities included teaching LHPS 240 as an Adjunct Professor, providing academic advising, and serving as Associate and Assistant Director of the Waldron Campus Center. In these positions, Catherine focused on supporting undergraduate students, managing event coordination, and supervising student staff. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Student Worker and Graduate Assistant in the Office of Special Events at St. Bonaventure University from February 1999 to May 2003. Catherine holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Gannon University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Science from St. Bonaventure University.
