Leah E. Shaw

Leah E. Shaw, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Residence Life at Kent State University, providing leadership and oversight for on-campus living initiatives aimed at enhancing the co-curricular learning experience and student success. With a robust background in student affairs, Leah previously held the position of Associate Director of Student Activities & Leadership at Case Western Reserve University, where responsibility included leading various leadership initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Director for Residential Life at Binghamton University, managing a complex housing approximately 1,000 students, and earlier roles at Kent State University, including Residence Hall Director and BRIDGE Coordinator for Upward Bound Programs. Leah E. Shaw holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Ashland University, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University.
