Anastasia (Stacy) Chege Gitonga has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology risk. Stacy began their career with an internship at KENYA EDUCATION NETWORK in May 2013, where they gained hands-on experience in network monitoring tools and security projects. During their internship, they successfully completed projects such as honeypot installation and setup, as well as virtual private network setup for a campus network.
Anastasia (Stacy) Chege Gitonga completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in strategic management from United States International University - Africa in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Security, Cybercrime, and Forensics from the same university. Anastasia has also obtained several certifications, including being an IIBA® Member, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², and an ISO 22301 Lead Implementer from PECB. Anastasia (Stacy) is also a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council Academy and a JD Edwards Specialist from Oracle. In 2012, Anastasia completed the Knowledge for Life Graduate trainee program at Seven Seas.
