Anastasia (Stacy) Chege Gitonga has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology risk. Anastasia (Stacy) currently holds the position of Head of Technology Risk and Security at Kenya Airways since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at IPSL Kenya from May 2021 to July 2022.

Before their role at IPSL Kenya, Stacy worked at Cellulant as the Head of Information Security from February 2019 to May 2021, and as an Information Security Engineer from June 2015 to February 2020. Anastasia (Stacy) also has experience as an IT Consultant at Cerberus Solutions in 2014.

Stacy began their career with an internship at KENYA EDUCATION NETWORK in May 2013, where they gained hands-on experience in network monitoring tools and security projects. During their internship, they successfully completed projects such as honeypot installation and setup, as well as virtual private network setup for a campus network.

Anastasia (Stacy) Chege Gitonga completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in strategic management from United States International University - Africa in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Security, Cybercrime, and Forensics from the same university. Anastasia has also obtained several certifications, including being an IIBA® Member, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², and an ISO 22301 Lead Implementer from PECB. Anastasia (Stacy) is also a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council Academy and a JD Edwards Specialist from Oracle. In 2012, Anastasia completed the Knowledge for Life Graduate trainee program at Seven Seas.
