Fredrick Kitunga is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information technology and data management within the aviation and banking sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information and Data Officer at Kenya Airways since January 2022, Fredrick leads technology initiatives in a prominent aviation group. Prior to this role, Fredrick held the position of Director, Group ICT Infrastructure at Equity Bank Group Limited from April 2020 to December 2021, overseeing the administration of enterprise infrastructure services. Fredrick's earlier tenure at KCB Bank Group spanned nearly two decades, culminating as Head of IT Group Enterprise Services, where responsibilities included managing enterprise ICT networks and systems. Fredrick's career began at Kenya Power as an IT & Telecomms Engineer, where foundational skills in network infrastructure design were developed.
