Thomas Ogutu

Thomas Ogutu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Ag. General Manager of Business Strategy and Chief Innovations Officer at Kenya Power since September 2016, Thomas leads innovation efforts within the strategy division. Previously, Thomas held positions as the Manager of the Telecommunications Business Unit and Customer Service Manager at Kenya Power, as well as General Manager at Postal Corporation of Kenya, where responsibilities included ICT strategy and delivery. Thomas began a career in technology as a Lead Technology Consultant at ITS & Consulting Inc. and worked as a Communications Network Analyst at Compaq Computers. Educationally, Thomas holds Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston and Physics from Moi University, complemented by a high school diploma from Starehe Boys Centre.
