Kenyon College
Gabriella Pesticci is an undergraduate student researcher at Kenyon College, engaged in experimental atomic, molecular, and optical research under the guidance of Professor Aaron Reinhard, focusing on laser cooling and trapping to study three-body entangled Rydberg states. Pesticci also contributes to the physics department by independently setting up and maintaining lab equipment and has served as a teacher's assistant for high-school physics courses. In the summer of 2024, participation in the University of Michigan REU program and CERN Summer Student Program involves developing a graph neural network for jet flavour classification at the LHCb experiment. Pesticci has previous work experience as a hostess and barback at Celtic Cavern. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Physics at Kenyon College, education also includes a study period at The University of Edinburgh.
