Alan Melson is an experienced media executive with a strong background in digital content and operations. Since July 2007, Alan has served as Vice President of Digital Media for KERA, overseeing strategy and community engagement for a major public media organization. Previous roles at KERA include Director of Digital Media, where Alan managed digital operations, and Manager of Web/Interactive, focusing on web content and redesign efforts. Prior work includes positions at DallasNews.com, WFAA.com, and TCU/ESPN Regional Sports Network, showcasing expertise in news editing and production. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Texas Christian University, earned in 2000.
