Eng. in Engineering from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) between 1981 and 1983. Afterwards, they pursued an M.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, which they completed between 1983 and 1985. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke in 1989.
