Monica Rivera Toro currently serves as Principal and Curriculum Coordinator at the Kern County Superintendent of Schools since November 2021. Prior to this role, Monica held the position of Assistant Principal at Taft Union High School within the Taft Union High School District from July 2016 to November 2021. Monica holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University, earned between 2006 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders with an emphasis in Deaf Education from California State University, Fresno, completed in 1999. Additionally, a second Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction was obtained from Point Loma Nazarene University.
