Alan Safron

Alan Safron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managed care and provider relations. Currently, Alan serves as the Corporate Director of Managed Care at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, a position held since October 2008, where responsibilities include negotiating contracts and managing relationships with commercial payers and managed care organizations. Previously, Alan worked with Select Medical Corporation, initially as Director of Managed Care and later as Corporate Director of Managed Care, focusing on contracts with various payers across multiple states. Alan's career began at MultiPlan, where a significant tenure spanned from 1985 to 2000 in a senior leadership role. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health in Public Health and Hospital Management from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, attained in 2006.
