Kestrix
Kestrix is the 'Google Maps of heat loss' – to unlock energy retrofits of existing buildings at scale. Globally, 10% of CO2 emissions come from heating and cooling buildings. But with 100m homes needing retrofit in Europe alone before 2050, how can we know which are leaking heat? Or how to fix them? Or whether insulation is working once installed? Kestrix uses thermal drones and AI to map heat loss from buildings and generate energy efficiency retrofit plans, not for single homes, but for cities at a time – so housing providers, energy utilities, local governments, installers and the like can spend less time planning retrofits, and more time delivering them. #GetRetroFIT
