Paul Degrandis

Paul deGrandis has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Paul currently holds the position of Senior Director Of Research at Kevel, where they are responsible for leading the design and construction of the company's technology vision. Prior to this, they served as the Principal Engineer and Head of Innovation and Architecture at Kevel.

Before joining Kevel, Paul worked at Cognitect, where they held the role of Director - Research/Innovation Group and also worked as a Principal Systems Consultant and Software Architect. Paul was involved in research, innovation, and software architecture during their time at Cognitect.

Paul also co-founded NDensity, an innovation lab, where they served as a Cofounder and Researcher. Paul'sexpertise at NDensity primarily focused on systems, cognitive computing, networks, and productization of intellectual property.

Additionally, Paul has held positions such as VP of Engineering at tutorspree, Software Engineer at PushButton Labs, Co-Founder and CEO at OurShelf, and Software Engineer at Etsy. Paul also worked as a Software Engineer and Research Lead at Academic and Advanced Research Labs, where they contributed to various research projects.

At the beginning of their career, Paul worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Silver Cloud Software, where they helped build a question-answering system and an embedded web-based rich-text editor.

Paul deGrandis attended Drexel University from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Software Engineering. Paul completed their undergraduate studies and partially completed a Master of Science (MS) program. In 2015, they attended MIT Sloan School of Management and obtained a Strategy and Innovation Certificate.
