Gideon Hart

Gideon Hart is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and Head of Regulatory and Political Activity at KeyBank since October 2018. In this role, Gideon provides enterprise-wide advice on various banking regulations, including OCC, FDIC, and Federal Reserve rules, and offers counsel to senior leaders on regulatory matters. Prior to KeyBank, Gideon worked at WilmerHale from October 2012 to August 2018 as Counsel, representing financial institutions and major companies in government enforcement actions and civil litigation. Earlier experience includes law clerk positions for prominent judges in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, as well as internships at federal courts and a U.S. Attorney's Office. Gideon earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a BA in History and Economics from Colgate University.
