Jongseung Yoon

Jongseung Yoon is an accomplished Semiconductor Device NTI R&D Engineer at Keysight Technologies since October 2019, with extensive experience in materials science and electrical engineering. Previously, Yoon served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California from August 2010 to August 2019, focusing on innovative electronic and optoelectronic device development. A Beckman Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2007 to August 2010, Yoon contributed to research in printed assemblies of electronic devices and flexible optoelectronic applications. Earlier, Yoon was a Postdoctoral Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at MIT, with a background in block-copolymer photonic and phononic crystals. Yoon's academic journey culminated in a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, following a BS in Materials Science from Seoul National University. Yoon also served as a Tactical Weather Forecasting Officer in the Republic of Korea Air Force from 1996 to 2000.
