Wolfgang Behler has extensive work experience in the finance industry, primarily focused on export and project finance. Wolfgang started their career at KfW in 1990 as a Trainee and Project Manager before becoming a Team Head in Aviation. In 2001, they became a Team Head in Risk Management at KfW before joining KfW IPEX Bank in 2005 as the Team Head in Aviation. Wolfgang later served as the Global Head of Risk Management at KfW IPEX Bank, and from 2016 to 2022, they held the role of Global Head in Industries and Services. In 2023, they assumed the position of Global Head of Industry and Commerce at KfW IPEX Bank. Throughout their career, Behler has developed expertise in providing medium to long-term financing solutions tailored to clients' specific needs in the export industry.
Wolfgang Behler pursued their education from 1985 to 1990 at the Goethe University Frankfurt. During this time, they successfully obtained a degree in Betriebswirtschaft, specifically a Diplom Kaufmann.
