Stefan Wintels

Stefan Wintels is the current CEO of KfW. Stefan was previously with Deutsche Telekom, KfW Capital, and KfW. Stefan also spent time at Citi as the Global (Co-)Head of Financial Institutions Group in the Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory division from January 2001 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were with Deutsche Bank from January 1994 to December 2001 as Managing Director.

Stefan Wintels completed a Master in Business Administration at the Technische Universität Berlin, with a focus on wirtschaftswissenschaften. Stefan then went on to participate in the 2nd year of the MBA programme at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
