Jason Chancey

Jason Chancey possesses extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Khan Academy since August 2018. Previous roles include Technical Advisor at Starsona Inc. and Director of Software Engineering at Financial Engines. Jason has held significant positions such as CTO at NiN Healthcare and various engineering management roles at Intuit, Inc., where contributions spanned from staff software engineer to engineering group manager. Jason also co-founded Career Central and served as owner and vice-president of Purple Magma Corporation. In the early stages of a career, Jason was a software engineer at Kaiser Electronics and Intuit, contributing to the development of online banking features and innovative technologies. Educationally, Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
