Dan Wellburn is an Associate at Kilburn & Strode since November 2019, with prior experience as an Attorney and Part-Qualified Patent Attorney at Kilburn & Strode LLP from October 2014 to November 2019. Dan has a strong background in academia, including serving as a Lecturer at Northeastern University (CN) from September 2012 to September 2014, where Dan led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation for China and prepared patents for innovative laser technologies. Prior roles at the University of Liverpool involved project management and postdoctoral research, focusing on laser applications in various industries. Dan holds a PGCert in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London and a PhD in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the University of Liverpool.
