Courtney Akvan

Courtney Akvan is an experienced instructor at Kilgore College since March 2017, with a strong background in radiologic technology. Prior to this role, Courtney served as a Cardiac Catheterization/Interventional Radiology Technologist at Good Shepherd Health System from August 2016 to November 2019 and worked as a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist at CHI St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center from February 2014 to February 2016. Courtney's earlier experience includes a position as an Interventional Radiology Radiologic Technologist at UPMC Presbyterian from February 2013 to February 2014 and as a Radiologic Technologist at Allegheny Health Network from March 2010 to February 2014. Courtney holds a Master's degree in Radiologic Technology/Science from The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and a Bachelor of Science in Radiology from AdventHealth University.
