Killeavy Castle Estate opened in July 2019 at an investment of over 12 million. Conveniently located 10 minutes outside Newry City and only one hour from both the Belfast and Dublin airports. On the Estate you will find a choice of accommodation types from a fully restored a 19th century Castle, a 45-room boutique style Hotel and a quaint Gatelodge. The Estate also offers a 7-treatment room Spa with extensive thermal facilities, fine dining Restaurant, bistro style Bar offering countryside views and a Café nestled within the Walled Garden with serene outdoor spaces. 

For your meetings or events choose from the Castle Boardroom, Castle Pavilion and The Garden Lounge. With the ability to cater for up to 220 guests for a dinner or awards event or 300 guests for a theatre styled event or conference with ample breakout spaces to relax and unwind. 

Set within the 350-acres of Estate you will find many unique experiences from mindfulness, foraging, mountain bicycle or e-bike hire and Estate trails to explore the mythical woodland and onsite working farm allowing you to take in the scenic views and tranquil setting. Located just short walk (10 mins) from the Estate you can explore Slieve Gullion Forest Park. For those looking for a far-reaching view, challenge yourself and hike to the peak of Slieve Gullion and discover views that will not disappoint. 

Sustainability is a core value and ethos of Killeavy Castle Estate from concept to design through to the delivery of the daily operational practices. Such initiatives have been implemented from inception such as a single use plastic policy, efficient energy systems, a Walled Garden where we grow the majority of our produce onsite and a Working Farm rearing our Estate Longhorn Beef and Cheviot Lamb. A continuous improvement approach is adopted by management and staff to find new ways to continue to lower the carbon footprint.
