William R. Drake

William R. Drake is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in reservoir evaluation, geological mapping, and resource assessment. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Kimmeridge, William specializes in reservoir evaluation and new ventures. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Geologist - Advisor at Jonah Energy LLC, where responsibilities encompassed basin-scale characterization and play-entry evaluation for the Powder River Basin. At QEP Resources, William managed regional evaluations in the Permian Basin and contributed to asset evaluation and prospect generation efforts. With a background in project management at Haley & Aldrich and expertise in environmental geology from Tetra Tech, William has developed a robust skill set in geoscience, mentoring, and data analysis. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Science in Geology from Northern Arizona University.
