James Anderson has a strong background in quality management and process improvement. James began their career at Intermedics Orthopedics in 1992 as a Research/Manufacturing Engineering Tech. James then joined Dana Holding Corporation as a Quality Supervisor in 1998. In 2000, they became a Quality Manager at CoorsTek and achieved certification as a Green Belt. James later moved to Sanmina-SCI as a Global Quality Systems Manager before returning to CoorsTek as a Quality and Engineering Manager, where they also achieved Black Belt certification. In 2015, they joined CoorsTek, Inc. as a Master Black Belt before eventually becoming the Director of Quality and Process Engineering. Most recently, James served as the VP of Engineering and Operational Excellence at Kimray, Inc. where they led and managed the company's quality and process engineering efforts.

James Anderson earned a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University, which they attended from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued an AS in Manufacturing Technology at Oklahoma State University from 1983 to 1986. In 1990-1991, they studied Business Management at The University of Texas at Dallas, although the specific degree earned is not mentioned.
