Russ Frushtick

Russ Frushtick is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Partnerships at Kinda Funny since August 2025. Prior to this, Frushtick co-founded Polygon and held various roles including Director of Special Projects, focusing on revenue-forward initiatives involving external partnerships, and Editorial Section Lead. Frushtick was instrumental in the launch of Polygon, one of the leading video game and technology publications, and managed its video team. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Writer at MTV News, where Frushtick directed technology coverage, and as Editorial Director at Product Hunt, overseeing the Games category. Frushtick's career began as a Contributing Editor at UGO.com and an intern at Cliff Freeman and Partners. Frushtick holds a BA in English and Journalism from Emerson College.
