Malathi Vakkalanka

Malathi Vakkalanka serves as the Senior Manager of Product Development at Kinder's Premium Quality Seasonings & Sauces since March 2024. Previously, Malathi held various leadership positions at Bobbie, including Head of Innovation and Head of Product Development, from June 2020 to September 2023. Experience also includes roles at OLLY PBC as Product Development Manager and at Plum Organics as Scientist and Senior Food Technologist. Malathi began a career in research and development with The Kraft Heinz Company and Kraft Foods, progressing through several research positions, including at USDA-ARS and Rutgers University. With a Master's degree in Food Science from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, complemented by a Product Management Certification from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, Malathi combines academic expertise with practical industry experience. Notable achievements include the successful management of a team to create a heart-healthy food product aligned with U.S. dietary guidelines.
