Bruce Sawhill

Bruce Sawhill is an experienced professional currently serving as the Chief Science Officer at KinectAir, where responsibilities include business reviews and leveraging technical expertise. As the Principal at Sawhill Consulting since October 2021, Bruce specializes in data modeling and network optimization. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at The Personal Airline from January 2015 to September 2021, focusing on data modeling and network optimization, and co-founding PAX, an online marketplace for on-demand air services. An adjunct professor at UC Santa Cruz from 2006 to 2017, Bruce conducted research in autonomous systems for air vehicle navigation. Additional experience includes consulting for the US Air Force on airborne refueling optimizations and serving as a board member for the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival, promoting baroque chamber music. Bruce holds a BA in Music and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Stanford University.
