Barrett Gibson currently serves as the Head of Marketing & Communications at Kinetic, the largest privately-owned bus network in Australia and New Zealand, since September 2019. Prior to this role, Barrett held positions including Head of Media & Communications at BG Consulting, which specializes in public relations and communications for national brands, from November 2014 to December 2021, and Senior Consultant at Ignite PR & Marketing, focusing on communications across various industries from February 2011 to November 2014. Earlier experience includes roles as a Consultant at ReputationInc, specializing in corporate communications for the private sector, and as a Freelancer at Band & Brown Communications, working on corporate communications for the public and third sectors. Barrett earned a degree in Business, Marketing and International Business from Queensland University of Technology and furthered studies in International Business at the University of Tübingen.
