Alan Rice

Alan Rice is a skilled software engineer with significant experience in developing innovative technology solutions. Currently employed at KINETIC since July 2020, Alan initially joined as a contractor to develop contact-tracing features during the Covid-19 pandemic, later transitioning to a full-time position. Previously, Alan worked at Ride Health from September 2017 to June 2020, contributing to the establishment of a real-time distributed system in Elixir as one of the company's first employees. Alan's career also includes a role at Authorea, where responsibilities grew from a contractor position focused on redesigning the marketing website to becoming a full-time employee, and an internship at Oak Studios dedicated to web development. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from New York University and completed a program at General Assembly in 2015.
