Mutaz Barnawi

Mutaz Barnawi is currently a Graduate Assistant at the Intercultural Diversity Center, overseeing daily operations and campus events focused on diversity initiatives at the University of Alabama. Concurrently, Mutaz serves as a Lecturer in the Marketing Communication Department at King AbdulAziz University, teaching various courses and aiding in departmental collaborations. As a Marketing Communication Consultant at Seven Marks, Mutaz manages internal and external communications and has co-founded and managed the company. Previous roles include Content Creator at Rawaf Mina For Haj Services, Adjunct Lecturer at Umm Al-Qura University, Director of Media and Public Relations Consultant at ALWEDAD CHARITY, and Director of Communications and Public Relations at ZamZam Albarakah for Health Services. Mutaz's early career included positions as a Marketing and Public Relations Assistant and a journalist. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama and a Master of Arts in International Public Relations and New Media Marketing from Arcadia University.
