Yolanda McGhee

Yolanda McGhee is a seasoned Project/Program Manager with expertise in initiatives focused on systemic racism and community empowerment, currently serving in the Best Starts for Kids program at King County, WA since October 2017. In this role, Yolanda successfully developed an innovative RFP strategy that prioritizes alignment with core values, parent and youth involvement, and collaborative agreements. Prior to this, from September 1999 to October 2017, Yolanda worked as a Family Support Specialist at Seattle Public Schools, where efforts centered on enhancing students' academic and social-emotional success through collaboration with families and community resources. Yolanda holds a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from Eastern Washington University, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Hope International University, a Certificate from the Foster School of Business, and a Case Management Certificate in Social Work from the University of Washington.
