Mohammed Alasmari

Mohammed Alasmari is an academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor at King Khalid University since March 2023, and has held a similar position at Jazan University since January 2011, where Mohammed also served as a Lecturer. Previous experience includes being a Researcher PhD Student at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2017 to October 2021 and serving as President of the Saudi Students Organization at the University of the Incarnate Word from April 2014 to May 2015. Mohammed also coordinated public relations for the Ensan Charity Committee for Orphans Care from December 2009 to December 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Media Art and Text from Virginia Commonwealth University (2017-2021), a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication from the University of the Incarnate Word (2014-2016), and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (2006-2010).
