Sergio Martin

Sergio Martin has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and electronics. Sergio started their professional journey as a Mechatronics Engineer at the Glasgow University Robotics Society (GURS), where they played a key role in designing and building a drone for a competition. Sergio then joined the University of Glasgow as a Team Supervisor for a Mechatronics Team Project, where they supervised and supported a team of five members in designing a maze-solving robot. Sergio later worked as an Industrial Placement at Arm, gaining valuable industry experience. Sergio also served as a Lab Demonstrator at the University of Glasgow, where they conducted and supervised electronics laboratory sessions. Currently, Sergio works at Kingdom Technologies as the Head of Electronics, involved in the development of an autonomous gardening robot. Sergio'sresponsibilities include mechanical modeling, electrical circuit design and testing, and software development for navigation and control systems. Overall, Sergio has demonstrated expertise in robotics, mechatronics, and electronics throughout their career.

Sergio Martin attended Montessori School Mataespesa from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued A levels, Spanish Baccalaureate, and IGCSEs. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 2013 and studied Mechatronics Engineering. Sergio obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Glasgow in 2018.
