God has a huge heart and love for our seniors, and we’re so glad to be able to care for as many as possible. Yet, there are so many seniors in need in San Antonio, so we are focusing our attention on those with the least ability to provide for themselves. 

Did you know that the average monthly income of the seniors we serve is about $900? According to recent 2022 surveys*, the average living expenses for a single person in the US are $3,189 monthly.  It's much higher in 2024. Imagine trying to survive on $800 to pay for rent, utilities, groceries, medications, etc. There are also limitations on what they can purchase with food stamps. Some excluded items, that can be expensive, are medicines, vitamins, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, detergent, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, pet food, etc.
