Head Of KES at King's Ely

Jonathan Shaw has a strong background in education, with a particular focus on leadership roles. Jonathan most recently served as the Head of KES at King's Ely since September 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Boarding and Team Inspector at the Independent Schools Inspectorate from 2013. From 2010 to 2018, they were the Deputy Head Teacher at Elizabeth College, Guernsey. Other notable roles include Housemaster at Ardingly College from 2004 to 2010, Head of Boarding at St Andrew's School, Turi from 2001 to 2004, Head of History at Gordon's School from 1997 to 2001, and History Teacher at RGS Worcester from 1993 to 1997.

Jonathan Shaw attended Wycliffe College from 1980 to 1988, although they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time. Jonathan later enrolled at the University of Nottingham from 1988 to 1991, majoring in History. In 1992 to 1993, they attended the same university and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Lastly, from 2008 to 2010, Jonathan pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Leadership at the University of London.
